Transplant

A kidney transplant is an operation in which a healthy kidney from another person is placed in your body. The new kidney performs the function of the non-working kidneys. Dialysis is usually required while waiting for a transplant.

Your doctor will help determine if you are a candidate for a kidney transplant. DCA can assist you with a referral, and will work with transplant centers throughout your transplant evaluation process.
