Quality — a word used
frequently in our healthcare world.
What does it mean to us at USRC?
Quality at USRC refers to a commitment to provide for our patients
superior care. USRC strives to achieve and exceed industry generated
goals related to dialysis services. We select leaders based
on that exact commitment. USRC promotes a corporate view of
excellence in care in order to achieve established goals. Goals
are set to direct the multidisciplinary care team (physicians,
nurses, dietitians, social workers, technicians) at our clinics
to actively pursue this corporate mindset. Patient outcomes
are maximized through this intense quality focus.
USRC has set goals related to patient outcomes proven to improve
their quality of life. Clinical indicators address anemia, adequacy
of dialysis, bone disease and dialysis access, as well as additional
areas of clinical intervention. Results are reviewed monthly
by the quality team and actions are defined to continuously
improve patient outcomes. This is an active process incorporated
into the daily functions of our dialysis facilities involving
patients and staff to achieve excellence of care and quality
outcomes.
Quality — not just a word, but a guiding philosophy producing
exemplary results for the recipients of care provided by the
USRC team.
